Reed Switch NO (Magnetic field sensor) Normally open

A Normally Open (NO) reed switch means the internal electrical contacts are disconnected by default . The circuit is “broken,” so no electricity flows . When a magnet is brought near, the magnetic field pulls the contacts together, closing the circuit so electricity can flow.
